Tales of Xillia Ships 500,000 Units

Namco Bandai announced today that Tales of Xillia has moved 500,000 copies in its initial shipment. This news comes not long after reports of the game becoming the most preordered Tales game ever. Xillia has since sold out in many locations, including online import shops.

Initial reports suggest that the game has sold through 274,000 copies on its first day on sale, and an additional 100,000 on the second. Tales of Xillia should have no problem reaching 400K sold in its first week.

In comparison, Tales of Vesperia PS3 sold 148K first day.
