Final Fantasy X Announced for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita

It's the moment you've all been waiting for: Square-Enix has just announced a remake for one of the most beloved entries in the series!

If you were expecting Final Fantasy VII, I'm sorry to say that isn't the case. In celebration of its 10th year anniversary, Final Fantasy X will be getting the HD remaster treatment instead. In addition to PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3 fans can look forward to the game as well.

Details are still relatively unknown for now, but Shinji Hashimoto announced today at Sony's Tokyo Game Show press conference that development of the title is currently underway, and we should be hearing more information in the near future.
