Wasteland 3 surpasses 2 million players
Inxile Entertainment has revealed that Wasteland 3 has surpassed 2 million players since its release in August 2020. The post-apocalyptic tactical RPG reached 1 million players in October 2020.

2 million of you have joined the Rangers in Colorado, and it's deeply gratifying that we've been able to share our stories and ideas with so many. Thank you. pic.twitter.com/XpcLHab4M2
Wasteland 3 has been available on Xbox Game Pass since launch, for consoles and PC, so the 2 million player count very likely includes both those who purchased the game and those who downloaded it through their subscription. Since launch, two DLC expansions have been released for Wasteland 3 - The Battle of Steeltown and Cult of the Holy Detonation.
Inxile is now a first-party Microsoft studio, so hopefully we'll see what RPG the developer has in store sooner than later.
