Nippon Ichi announces Yomawari 3 for PS4 and Switch
Fans of the underappreciated Yomawari series can finally rejoice: Yomawari 3 has finally been announced, and if you happen to be fluent in the Japanese language you can even pick it up as soon as April 21. (If you aren't, well, the first two Yomawari games did eventually make their way overseas, so hope springs eternal.)
Directed by Tantei Bokumetsu's Munenori Hirose with character art from Yu Mizokami, Yomawari 3 appears primed to continue the horror adventure vibes that the series is known for.
The protagonist will need to rely on her trusty flashlight in order to avoid some pretty gnarly-looking ghosts as she journeys through a city and its outskirts by night. Not much else is known at this time, but with the game just a handful of months away we'll be sure to hear more soon.
Yomawari 3 is in development for PS4 and Switch. It will launch on April 21, 2022, in Japan. No word yet on if or when it will be localized abroad.
