Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity surpasses 4 million units sold
Koei Tecmo has announced [PDF] that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity has sold more than 4 million units worldwide since its launch in November 2020.
The action RPG spinoff previously hit 3.7 million in March 2021, 3.5 million in December 2020, and 3 million copies within its launch week. Age of Calamity was already squarely the best selling 'Warriors' title from Koei Tecmo, and its extension of that record now hits another milestone.
The game's second part of its Expansion Pass, titled 'Guardians of Remembrance', landed in October 2021, adding Robbie & Purah as a playable duo along with one other character, new story elements, and new character actions. The first wave 'Pulse of the Ancients' came out in June 2021.
