Star Wars: The Old Republic Date, Prices & Trailer
EA, LucasArts and Bioware have used the epic UK gaming show Eurogamer Expo to reveal the release date and pricing structure for their massive MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic.
The massive-budget MMO will launch in North America on December 20th while Europe will have to wait a couple more days, getting the game on December 22nd. They've probably split the two dates a little to avoid complete and total server death.
They also took the time to confirm the pricing for the game seperately on the game's official site. It'll cost $14.99/£8.99/€12.99 for one month, $41.97/£25.17/€35.97 for 3 months and $77.94/£46.14/€65.94 for six months.
You make savings by buying your subscription in larger blocks of time, and the game comes with one month of free access anyway.
Check out the new trailer, which was used to confirm the date, below. Sorry we're late on this news - but it happened on a Saturday and we were all too busy digging into games like Tales of Xillia, Dark Souls and Disgaea 4 - of course. You can preorder the game right now. So get a move on.
