Witch and the One Hundred Cavalrymen Announced for PS3

Those who enjoy Nippon Ichi's games won't have to wait much longer for the next one. Dengeki PlayStation has just revealed their new title for PlayStation 3: Majou to Hyakkihei, or roughly, Witch and the One Hundred Cavalrymen.

The main character of the game is a witch named Metallica, however you don't control her. The player takes control of a soldier named Hyakkihei, who is just one part of 100 Hyakkihei cavalrymen.

The game's story takes place in a forest. A war is being fought between Metallica, the marsh witch and the ugly forest witch. Metallica wishes to rid herself of her rival, and spread marshland throughout the world. In order to do so, she calls upon the power of the mysterious Hyakkihei...

Majou to Hyakkihei is an action RPG with a top down feel. Being made by the Prinny Team, expect a large, seamless world in which battle transitions won't even exist!

The game is due out in Japan in Spring 2012. Those looking to import will be happy to know a limited edition of the game will be made available as well, which includes an artbook, figure, and soundtrack.
