Dark Souls tops the Japanese Charts
From Software and Namco Bandai's spiritual successor to Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, has rushed to the top of the Japanese charts with first-week sales of 279,567.
Those numbers mean that Dark Souls has already beaten and oldsold Demon's Souls, which we at RPG Site named as our RPG of the Year 2009.
Dark Souls is set to launch in the West next week. Without spoiling much, I'll just say that we've been playing it, will have a review this weekend and it's pretty bloody good.
Namco Banadi also released a new trailer of the game in action, which predictably shows off a lot of the nasty ways you can die. Check that out below.
