void* tRrLM2(); //Void Terrarium 2 releases for PS4 and Switch on June 30 in Japan
Nippon Ichi Software has revealed a sequel to Void Terrarium. void* tRrLM2(); //Void Terrarium 2 will be available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on June 30 in Japan. The robot protagonist and the sole surviving human girl Toriko will return in this game.
Just like the first game, the player will control the robot in exploring roguelike dungeons to gather materials to build and maintain a Terrarium—an environmental tube set to preserve Toriko's life. The sequel will add new objects that alter the Terrarium's environment, such as temperature and humidity.
The game will also require the player to keep a balance in humidity to ensure Toriko's health. If it's too low, it will dry her to the bone. But if the humidity is too high, it will instead cause mold to cover Toriko entirely. There will also be more new diseases that threaten Toriko, such as one that would inflate her body like a balloon.
Nippon Ichi has also uploaded a trailer for Void Terrarium 2, featuring the theme song "Spes est" by Minami Haruki. You can find the trailer, along with more screenshots, right below. An English localization for this sequel has yet to be announced as of this writing.
