The long-awaited Digimon Survive finally launches on July 29
Bandai Namco Entertainment has finally shared a release date for Digimon Survive - July 29, 2022. The news comes from a brand-new Producer Update video with the game's producer, Kazumasa Habu. Digimon Survive is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). Of course, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S owners can utilize the backwards compatibility feature on those systems to play Digimon Survive as well.
We last heard about Digimon Survive back in February and March after a long two years of silence, in which Habu reintroduced the game at Digimon Con. He provided a deeper dive into how the game played and what players can expect from its battles and narrative flow. Habu also mentioned that Digimon Survive changed development teams from Witchcraft to Hyde.
Check out the new Producer Update, in which producer Kazumasa Habu announced that Digimon Survive will be finally releasing on July 29 in the west (July 28 in Japan & Asia).
In Japan, Bandai Namco announced that Digimon Survive will release one day earlier on July 28. Bandai Namco is also offering a pre-order bonus in the region, which will reward players with a limited Guilmon partner. There's currently no confirmation of a similar pre-order bonus for western versions of the game.
