Xbox 360 sells out in Japan
Stores selling the new Xbox 360 bundle - including the Premium Console, "Blue Dragon," Five Mini Figurines and a Blue Dragon Faceplate just don't seem to have enough stock.
A total of 100,000 special edition console bundles have sold across the country with another 90,000 set to ship to supply the surprising demand.
According to 1up.com, some retailers sold out of the bundles within five minutes of opening their doors.
While 100,000 units isn't a huge deal in the big picture, it seems Microsoft's plans to coax Japanese gamers in with Japanese made RPGs from people such as Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy, is working.
All this comes just weeks before the PS3 is launched. We'll bring you full sales stats when they are released.
