Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery gets new cinematic and gameplay trailers
Publisher XD and developer Shanghai Sunborn Network Technology have released new trailers for Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery. A new character, named Sugar, is also revealed for the upcoming strategy RPG.
Reverse Collapse is a remake of 2013's Code Name: Bakery Girl, a predecessor to the Girls' Frontline series and the first project by Sunborn Network's so-called MICA Team. While it has been in development for several years, XD currently has Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery set to release in 2022 for Nintendo Switch, mobile devices, and PC (Steam).

Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery is a tactical RPG currently in development for PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
Set 30 years after the events in Girl's Frontline, the world is plagued by war and resource crises because of the Collapse Fluid pollution. During the world‘s post-war reconstruction process, the newly formed "Antarctic Union" and the "URNC" begin to fight over the result of the "Three Goddesses Project".
Face the harsh terrains, the overwhelming URNC soldiers, and the unknown force pulling the strings behind the scenes in the complete remake of 2013's Code Name: Bakery Girl.

XD Inc., in partnership with Sunborn Network, unveiled a new CG trailer and a gameplay preview for the upcoming tactical RPG, Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery. Announced through TapTap, the CG trailer and gameplay preview show off an absorbing storyline, exciting new game mechanics, and a sneak peek of the new character, Sugar.
Told through invigorating music and visuals, the cinematic experience of the new CG animation transcends the player into the Reverse Collapse universe, where, Jefuty, the protagonist sets foot on a treacherous journey to survive the war. The animated trailer sheds light on Jefuty’s backstory that undertakes in the depth of winter and introduces the new character, Sugar, who may look amiable and cute in the front, but her spiked tail discloses her actual character in the back, malicious and fierce.
On the other hand, the gameplay trailer unfolds a completely new game mechanic and system of the action-packed Reverse Collapse. Building on top of the gameplay from the original Code Name: Bakery Girl, this latest installment of the franchise introduces the backtracking ability for Jefuty, with which she can reverse back to previous levels and discover clues to advance through them. The game will also include a flowchart to display different levels and guide the player through various storylines to discover the only path for Jefuty to survive.
Furthermore, the gameplay exhibits new special combat forms: terrain killing mechanism, stealth gameplay, and enemy infighting gameplay to maximize the playability and excitement of the player’s Reverse Collapse experience.
