Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes confirmed to be getting a release on Nintendo Switch
In a new Kickstarter post, developer Rabbit & Bear Studios has confirmed that Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Ever since its initial Kickstarter launch in July 2020, it remained unclear if the upcoming Suikoden spiritual successor would hit the platform, since its developers were holding out hope that Nintendo would announce a more powerful follow-up to the Switch in due time. Nearly two years have passed without a word that the "Switch 2" exists, so now Rabbit & Bear Studios have firmly committed to a Switch release of their upcoming project.
The developer expressed that they "wanted to play it safe and investigate what options [they] had before fully committing to a Nintendo Switch version."
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is still slated to release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC in 2023.
Its side-game prequel, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Game Pass (console, PC), Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, GOG, Epic).
