Next Star Ocean: The Divine Force update coming in late June

If you're waiting for information on the newest title in the Star Ocean series, you might be waiting slightly longer than previously anticipated, Square Enix has confirmed. 

In a new tweet from the official Japanese twitter account for the brand, Square Enix confirmed that the next information on the upcoming Star Ocean: The Divine Force would drop "in late June".

This is a delay from the previously-announced timing for the next promotional information on the game, which told fans to prepare for new information in Spring of 2022. The tweet offers apologies to fans for the delay, but thanks fans for looking forward to the next information.

Star Ocean: The Divine Force is set to release at some point in 2022, and is the rare Square Enix release that has a truly all-encompassing release: it's arriving for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. Only Nintendo Switch is missing.

Not much has been confirmed about the game yet, but we have had an brief look at some of its environments - and we've been thinking about what we might want to see in this latest entry.
