New Dragon Quest X Screenshots showcase MMO chops
Square Enix Japan have released another batch of screenshots for Dragon Quest X, showing off how the massively multiplayer Wii title looks in action and introducing new characters and locations.
The screenshots certainly look like an MMO - deliberately lower-rent graphics are used and MMO HUD elements are clearly visible. The title was confirmed to be an MMO back in September.
Since then, several batches of screens and a single trailer have been released, while Square Enix have calmed the nerves of hardcore series fans by promising the series won't be 'all online' from here on out. This title will carry subscription fees, though.
