Gamedec comes to Nintendo Switch on July 1
Anshar Studios has released a 'Nintendo Switch Release Date Trailer' for Gamedec, the isometric cyberpunk RPG where you play as a detective solving crimes committed in virtual game worlds which originally launched on PC last September.
The release of Gamedec has been a bit rocky with its release originally set for 2020 on PC and 2021 on Switch; it was later met with a delay until it settled into its September 16, 2021 date for the PC. Dani Maddox wrote a preview for Gamedec in August 2020. Their initial takeaway was that the game had "an interesting mix of highly interactive dialogue trees and ridiculously dated writing."
The trailer showcases the game running on Nintendo Switch, and closes out with the title's finalized Switch release date - coming early next month.
The trailer can be found below.
Detect. Discover. Deduct. Dive deep into the Cyberpunk World of Gamedec, coming to Nintendo Switch on July 1st, 2022. The game garnered multiple awards and praise for creating a level of choice and freedom similar to actual pen and paper RPGs.
Gamedec is a narrative-focused, non-combat story that puts players in the shoes of a digital detective diving deep into case files spread across the digital worlds of 22nd century Warsaw City. How you respond during each case is as important as what you discover—your personality determines skills that unlock different opportunities and paths to different cases.
Gamedec's Switch release will come with a 40% discount, retailing for 17.99 EURO/USD until July 21st, with the game costing 29.99 afterward. Players who have purchased any other Untold Tales titles on Nintendo Switch will receive an additional 10% off on the game. The game is currently available on PC (Steam, Epic, GOG) with a demo available to download on both GOG and Steam.
