Zenless Zone Zero unleashes a new look at its frenetic combat in its Summer Games Fest 2022 Trailer

HoYoverse shared another look at their recently announced "urban fantasy" action RPG, Zenless Zone Zero. It is currently still accepting applications for its closed beta test with no release date or window announced yet.

The trailer teases several unannounced characters belonging to other agencies. So far, HoYoverse has formally introduced three members of the Cunning Hares dispatch agency - Anby Demara, Nicole Demara, and Billy Kid. 

An enigmatic figure, who refers to themself as Soldier 11, elegantly takes down foes in the new Zenless Zone Zero trailer. They even effortlessly cut through giant robot enemies as they infuse their sword with fire. Other characters briefly shown in its initial announcement trailer make an appearance too.

HoYoverse has also provided world-building digital pamphlets that give people a better idea on the premise behind the game. The first one explains what a Hollow is and what casual life is like in the world of Zenless Zone Zero.

Zenless Zone Zero is another brand-new game IP with an urban fantasy theme and fast-paced action gameplay while embracing a trendy and fresh aesthetic style. In the story setting, contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster known as the Hollows. The last urban civilization – New Eridu – survived the apocalypse and managed to thrive by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources out of the Hollows. Players will take the role of a Proxy, and join with a group of partnersto conquer unknown enemies and further unravel the mysteries of New Eridu.

In this most recent Zenless Zone Zero trailer, this ARPG title showcases notable characters, new types of armed adversaries, and fluid, cinematic battle scenes to transport the audience into a world full of danger and unknown
