Black Tower Basement and Nordcurrent Labs announce Pixel-Art Narrative RPG Greedventory
Ukraine-based developer Black Tower Basement and publisher Nordcurrent Labs announced Greedventory at the Guerilla Collective 3 event for PC (Steam, GOG). The title is a point and slash adventure that features "soul-like elements" and RPG systems.
Players are tasked with retrieving several magical artifacts that the Igneous Sigil Brotherhood has taken control of. The upcoming 2D pixel art game has players travel the screen from left to right and places a heavy emphasis on parrying incoming enemy attacks with a cursor at the right time. People can mitigate the damage they would have received on a clean hit; some attacks can be reflected back onto the enemy as well.
Experience points and loot are rewarded as players progress deeper into Greedventory. Its inventory screen resembles other action RPGs, such as Diablo. Environmental obstacles, such as saw blades on the ground, can also damage players too.
