NIS America brings Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society to the west in early 2023 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC
NIS America has announced that they are releasing Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society to the PlayStation 5, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) to the west in early 2023. It is the sequel to Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk.
In Galleria's initial announcement back in March 2019, Nippon Ichi Software described that the game is more of a "successor" rather than a direct sequel to Refrain. Therefore, it isn't mandatory to play Refrain to enjoy what Galleria has to offer. Emi Evans, of NieR series fame, returns to perform a vocal theme in the game, just like in Refrain.
The road to Galleria's release, even in Japan, has been rocky over the years. It was set to release in July 2019 over there at first, but was met with a delay that pushed it back to spring 2020; later, Galleria encountered a second delay that further pushed it back to an undecided date. NIS reemerged with news of Galleria's existence in July 2020 and announced that it would release in Japan on November 26, 2020 - which it finally did for the PS4 and PS Vita. It was later released for the Switch in Japan on November 11, 2021.
James Galizio wrote his impressions for it in February 2021 explaining his love for Galleria and how frustrating it was that he couldn't talk about it because of the many surprises it hides.
NIS America has begun accepting pre-orders for Galleria's Limited Edition from their online store for the PS5, PS4, and Switch releases. It includes the game, a hardcover artbook, a 2-disc original soundtrack, the Dungeon Divers card game with play mat, and a collector's box.

Fight past terrifying monsters by giving orders to your puppet brigade. Change their formation, use special skills, or call for an all-out attack! The battles you face will be challenging, so your success depends on your preparation and your strategy.
