Rune Factory 5 gets a Steam release on July 13

XSEED Games has announced that Rune Factory 5 will be coming to PC (Steam) on July 13. People can pre-purchase the game before it launches for a 15% off discount bringing the price down from $59.99 to $50.99 USD. A Digital Deluxe Edition for $69.99 ($59.49 with the 15% off discount) bundles the "Rune Factory 4 Marriage Candidates Outfit Set" along, which adds 13 additional outfits for their character to wear. All pre-orders receive "The Holy Knight and the Bibliophile Swimsuit Set + New Ranger Care Package Item Pack" set, as well.

Rune Factory 5 is now able to reach higher framerates with this PC release. Its announcement trailer shows various gameplay footage running at 60fps. The title is also receiving support for increased resolution sizes with its upcoming PC port.

Other than that, all of Rune Factory 5's content is all intact. The game will launch with dual-audio support for English and Japanese. Interface and subtitles for English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese will be available. Co-op cooking, link attacks, and same-sex marriage are some of the new features offered in this entry of the Rune Factory series.

Those that own Rune Factory 4 Special on Steam will receive additional content in Rune Factory 5. Outfits inspired by Lest and Frey will be available for their characters. Plus, Doug and Margaret will be making guest NPC appearances in Rune Factory 5 for them too.

Both English and Japanese voice tracks will be available in Rune Factory 5 along with features new to the series such as link attacks, co-op cooking, and same-sex marriage. Owners of Rune Factory 4 Special on Steam will also receive a special bonus in Rune Factory 5 in addition to outfits inspired by past protagonists Lest and Frey, fan-favorites Doug and Margaret will come live in Rigbarth as guest NPCs.
