Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom is coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2022
Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom was announced at the latest Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase. It is a follow-up to the 2019 Doraemon Story of Seasons crossover game, between the popular Doraemon franchise and the farming simulation series Story of Seasons. In it, Doraemon and Nobito have crashed onto an unknown planet and decide to help a new friend out by farming.
Previous gameplay elements and features such as fishing and the use of Doraemon's gadgets appear in this entry. The beautiful watercolor art style is also retained. Something new to this entry (and the series in general) is the addition of local co-op, for two players to enjoy farming fun together.
While Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom was initially only announced for the Switch at the Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, but its official site has shared that it will be coming to PS5 and PC via Steam as well, with the exact date not yet specified.
