Square Enix and Warner Bros. have shared a new trailer for Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal TV anime that showcases the first footage of the upcoming show in motion. A previous teaser trailer in late April was primarily comprised of stills for character designs. The new trailer revealed that it will be airing this October.

The new trailer for Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal shows some clips of how it will be adapting the Jumi storyline arc primarily through the eyes of Shiloh, the male protagonist in Legend of Mana. Elazul and Pearl were shown off when the teaser trailer dropped, as well. One of the biggest surprises is that the end of the trailer confirms that Serafina, the female protagonist, will be involved in the anime too.
Normally in the original game, players could only choose either the male or female protagonist at the beginning of the game and after that selection, the other main character would, effectively, cease to exist in the player's playthrough.
The Teardrop Crystal's new trailer shares some clips of the anime's opening theme song, as well. It is titled 'Tear of Will' performed by Serafina's voice actress, Saori Hayami. The song is composed and arranged by Kevin Penkin, who is primarily known for his work on the Made in Abyss and The Rising of the Shield Hero anime adaptations.

Serafina Voice: Saori Hayami
The other protagonist of Legend of Mana. Cheerful and sociable, she meets Shiloh on her journey and decides to help him.
Bud Voice: Yuko Sanpei
He is Lisa's twin brother and wishes to become a great sorcerer. He and Lisa played a prank on the town of Domina using magic, but surrendered to Shiloh after his intervention. Bud began to live with Shiloh after that. His magical frying pan is a keepsake from his late mother.
Lisa / Corona Voice: Shino Shimoji
Cheerful and lively, yet a tad shy, she is Bud's twin sister. She and Bud used magic to execute a prank on the town of Domina, but was quelled by Shiloh. As a result, she went along with Bud to live at Shiloh's place after the twins surrendered to him. Her magical broom is a keepsake from her late father.
Duelle Voice: Sachi Kokuryu
An anthromorphic onion that skillfully fights with a spear. He often appears in the game to teach gameplay mechanics to the main character.
Li'l Cactus Voice: Yurika Kubo
A shy, anthromorphic cactus that Shiloh takes care of at his home. Shiloh tells her about his adventures and she secretly writes about them in her diary. Another secret that Li'l Cactus hides is that she can walk.
