Live A Live demo now available; 40-minute Treehouse Plays footage
During today's Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, Nintendo announced that a demo is now available for Live A Live on the Nintendo eShop. The demo offers the beginning of three chapters of the game, in which save data can be transferred over to the full release when it launches on July 22.
Additionally, Nintendo has posted a 40-minute segment where members of Nintendo's Treehouse localization team play the upcoming remastered classic RPG. You can check out the footage below.
Live A Live is set to release for Nintendo Switch on July 22 worldwide. In case you missed it, Nintendo and Square Enix have offered periodic updates on the game's various time periods:
- The Wild West, The Middle Ages, The Near Future, and Twilight of Edo Japan
- Prehistory and Imperial China
- Present Day and Distant Future
