Star Ocean: The Divine Force introduces dual protagonists Raymond Lawrence and Laeticia Aucerius in new Character Trailers
Square Enix and Tri-Ace have unveiled the first batch of character introduction trailers for Star Ocean: The Divine Force with its dual protagonists, Raymond Lawrence and Laeticia Aucerius.
These new brief trailers provide new footage for the upcoming action RPG, along with small snippets giving people a better idea of their personalities. Raymond seems to find himself in awkward situations frequently, but keeps his mind concentrated on things that need to be done in the days ahead. Despite his talent to find trouble and tendency to rush into situations recklessly, Raymond seems to be a dependable person.
Compared to Raymond, Laeticia presents a much more upstanding, proper individual that will do whatever it takes to save her kingdom. She refers to Raymond as Ray and vows to assist him as long as he does the same for her. It seems like Laeticia is looking for trustworthy allies to join in her endeavor.
When Square Enix last shared information on Star Ocean: The Divine Force a few weeks ago, they mentioned that the overall story of the game would remain the same no matter which protagonist players choose at the start. The difference is that several scenes and events will play out differently because of different perspectives; Raymond's side would witness more "sci-fi" events, while Laeticia's side will see more of the "fantasy" side to The Divine Force.
Star Ocean: The Divine Force launches on October 27 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).
