The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero showcases Crafts, S-Crafts, Quartz, Team Rush, and Combo Crafts in its Gameplay Trailer
NIS America has shared a new gameplay trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero. Several gameplay systems are highlighted, including the Team Rush and Combo Craft mechanics.
Trails from Zero was originally the follow-up title to The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd in Japan, so many of its gameplay enhancements were, at the time, coming off of that. Those that have played the Trails in the Sky entries will see that the UI in Trails from Zero is more akin to that.
Some series staples are displayed in the new trailer, including Crafts, S-Crafts, and the Quartz system that dictates what elemental spells characters can cast. The Team Rush feature made its debut in Trails from Zero initially, allowing all characters in battle to attack the enemy at once. Combo Crafts were originally also a new feature introduced in Trails from Zero when it first came out, which allows two characters to unite in casting a powerful Craft ability together.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero arrives on September 27 for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic, GOG).
