SD Gundam Battle Alliance Demo is coming to consoles, DLC1 will add Gundam AGE and Narrative
Bandai Namco has published a new trailer for SD Gundam Battle Alliance. It mainly introduces the crossover game's original characters and gameplay systems. But at the end of the trailer, the company revealed a public demo for the game and the first DLC pack content.
The free demo version is coming digitally on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Nintendo eShop on July 22 at midnight, based on the respective region store's time zone. Players will be able to check out the game up until the end of the first Directory Mission featuring Iron-Blooded Orphans' Tekkadan. They can then keep the save data and bring it to the upcoming full game. The trailer also has a fine print stating that there will be no demo release on PCs.
In addition, the trailer revealed the content for the first out of 3 DLC packs included in the Season Pass. Titled Legend & Succession, it will add two new missions featuring two titles not included in the launch roster: Gundam AGE and Gundam Narrative.
"The Cursed Treasure" will have Kio Asuno's Gundam AGE-FX and Zera Gins' Vagan Gear enter the Iron-Blooded Orphans universe, while in "Destination of the Legend", Jona Basta's Narrative Gundam C-Packs and Zoltan Akkanen's II Neo Zeong join the fray in a battle between the Universal Century's heroes and villains.
The other two DLC packs are yet to be detailed, but they will also add more missions and playable units. The second pack will add 2 new playable units like the first one, while the third and last pack will add 3 more units.
