Acquire shares first trailer for dungeon crawler Labyrinth of Zangetsu

Acquire has released the first trailer for Labyrinth of Zangetsu, a dungeon crawler RPG set to release in Japan on September 29 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

While the game was previously announced for PC (Steam), today's announcement only mentions the console platforms, so the RPG's release status on PC is uncertain.

Labyrinth of Zangetsu was originally announced back in January 2021, looking to depict traditional Japanese style and a sense of 'profoundness' while also using classical instruments for its soundtrack.

In the game, an 'Ink of Destruction' has appeared, which can cause living, dead, and inanimate objects to become dangerous monsters when they come into contact with it. Warriors known as 'Ink Destroyers' are recruited to fight against the calamitous threat.
