Xenoblade Chronicles 3 receives new content on October 13 with new hero Ino, Challenge Battles, and more
Nintendo and Monolith Soft revealed new content coming to Xenoblade Chronicles 3 as part of Wave 2 of its Expansion Pass. It comes with a new Hero character, Ino, and Challenge Battles that test a player's mettle even further.
Ino is a new Hero that seems to take on the appearance of a mechanical girl that consumes ether cylinders. Her Defender-role class is Noponic Champion and the brief look at her status screen teases that a Save Party Formation function will be added to Xenoblade Chronicles 3 as well. An exclusive Inoswap system for Ino presents an enhancement screen similar to UI found in Ouroboros Skill Trees. Complete her character quest to add her to the party.
Challenge Battles make their way to Xenoblade Chronicles 3 in a similar fashion to how they manifest in the Expansion Pass for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. They come with multiple difficulties with certain restrictions; the faster you beat them, the better the rewards. In this content drop for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, players can unlock swimsuits for party members.
In a teaser for Wave 3 of Xenoblade Chronicles 3's Expansion Pass, another new Hero will be added and there is an image that shows two Heroes participating in battle at once.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is now available on the Nintendo Switch and we gave the excellent JRPG a 10/10 in our review of it.
