XSEED Games details special retail editions for Loop8: Summer of Gods and Trinity Trigger
XSEED Games has announced special physical retail editions for two RPGs set to release next year: a Celestial Edition for Loop8: Summer of Gods and a Day 1 Edition for Trinity Trigger. As XSEED Games is specifically the North American publisher for these games, these editions are specifically for North American storefronts.
Loop8: Summer of Gods is a coming-of-age time-travel RPG set in a rural 1983 Japanese town, where Nini and his classmates must eliminate demonic beings known as the Kegai. The title is set to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Spring 2023. You can learn more with the announcement details from September 2022.
Trinity Trigger is an action RPG inspired by '90s classics featuring three playable characters and eight weapon types that can be changed on-the-fly. XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today announced that both of its highly anticipated RPGs scheduled for release in early 2023 will have special editions available at participating retailers in North America at launch.
The original time-travel RPG Loop8: Summer of Gods will be available digitally for $49.99 on the Nintendo Switch system, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam, with a retail physical release on all three consoles for the same $49.99 MSRP, while a limited Celestial Edition will be offered at a $69.99 MSRP while supplies last.
Trinity Trigger will be available digitally for $49.99 on Nintendo Switch system, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, while the retail Day 1 Edition will be available on all three platforms for a $59.99 MSRP.
Loop8: Summer of Gods
The Celestial Edition for Loop8: Summer of Gods includes a 5.25” by 7.25” softcover ‘Ashihara Town Guide’ containing over 50 pages of artwork and information from the game, a musical selections CD with select songs from the soundtrack, a 7” by 10.5” mini wall scroll, and an authentic 4” by 3.15” Japanese wooden ema as an offering for the in-game Ashihara Shrine, all packaged with the game in a custom box.
Trinity Trigger
The Day 1 Edition for Trinity Trigger will include a 5.25” by 7.25” softcover artbook brimming with over 100 pages of game artwork from esteemed artists Yuki Nobuteru and Raita Kazama along with a two-disc soundtrack featuring the moving game score by composer Hiroki Kikuta, packaged together with the game in a custom box. Preorders for the Day 1 Edition will be available soon.
