Final Fantasy XIII-2 Launches in Japan

FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 is finally here!

The game launched to much anticipation this morning in Japan. Fear not westerners, your turn will come soon enough.

Director Motomu Toriyama and producer Yoshinori Kitase joined Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada for today’s release held at Bic Camera. Mai Fukui was also in attendance to sing the PlayStation 3 version’s theme song, Yakusoku no Basho, while AKB48 member Yuko Oshima made an appearance to show off the winning Serah DLC costume.
