Final Fantasy XVI Special Edition & Pre-order bonus content revealed
The wait is almost over. Announced at The Game Awards (LINK to Alex's article), Final Fantasy XVI will launch on June 22, 2023. With the release date firmly in place, FF16's Cid-stuffed new trailer has revealed the game's pre-order incentives.
Physical editions range include Standard, Deluxe, and — with pre-orders not available until December 12 at 6PM PST — a Collector's Edition. Square Enix has provided a handy spreadsheet encompassing the differences:

The FINAL FANTASY XVI Collector’s Edition will be available for pre-order exclusively on the Square Enix Store, and will also come with the following bonus items: F INAL FANTASY XVI Pre-Order SteelBook®, Digital Mini Artbook, Digital Mini Soundtrack, and Scholar’s Spectacles (Exp Boost Accessory) DLC.

Note that, per Square Enix's website, every FF16 pre-order includes Braveheart, a legendary sword wielded by the Warrior of Light in the Dissidia: Final Fantasy series, and Cait Sith's Lucky Charm, which boosts Gil earned from battles. We take that to mean those of us who prefer a physical copy will be eligible as well.
