Darkest Dungeon II releases on May 8

After releasing to an early access state exclusively on the Epic Games Store in 2021, developer Red Hook will finally be releasing the 1.0 update for Darkest Dungeon II on May 8, 2023 - for both Epic Games Store and Steam for PC.

As a celebration of the upcoming release, Red Hook has released a new limited-time demo for the game, for the duration of the currently ongoing Steam Next Fest; available from February 6 through 13. On February 7 the Creative Director Chris Bourassa and Design Director Tyler Sigman will host a live stream Q&A, while the next day on February 8 the developers plan to host a live stream showing off gameplay from the upcoming 1.0 release.
