Final Fantasy XIII-2 Launches in North America

Today is the day that North American fans get to dive into FFXIII-2, just 45 days after their Japanese counterparts. Have you gotten your copy not? If not, you still have a chance to win one through this very site. Check out our contest page for details.

Square Enix has prepped a brand new launch trailer in celebration, and has also lifted the veil on some upcoming DLC plans. Starting on February 7th, you’ll be able to download the coliseum DLC featuring Lightning and Master Sergeant Amodar. Japan will be seeing the release of this content on the same day. In addition, there will be episodes which enhance the experience and complement the narrative of FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 with storyline branches for key characters in the story. Details on those will be announced at a later date.
