The Last Story Coming to North America

Nintendo announced at their Nintendo Direct event earlier today that they would be bringing The Last Story to North America.  The game has recently released in Europe and with this annoucement, both major western territories will be getting it.

Interestingly enough, the publisher is XSeed rather than Nintendo itself.  This means that the company is now once again willing to work with external publishers for interally developed games.  It might not be quite that simple and involve sales potential as well, but this is still an incredibly rare occurence for Nintendo as of late and may encourage a change in the company's policies.

No release date has been announced, but it seems to be coming this year.
