Enclave HD set to release on June 29 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch
Ziggurat Interactive has announced that Enclave HD will launch on June 29 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. A release for PlayStation 5 will follow soon after.
This unexpected re-release of Enclave was originally announced in August 2021 and set to release that year, but news on the re-release had gone silent until now.
Enclave is a medieval action RPG that originally released on Xbox in 2002 and for PC in 2003. A re-release then followed for PC (Steam, GOG) and Nintendo Wii in 2012.

Today, Ziggurat Interactive — publisher of multiplatform retro and modern games — is pleased to announce a release date for Enclave HD. The updated version of the massively-popular hack and slash retro title, published under license of TopWare Interactive, will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on June 29, 2023 with Playstation 5 coming soon after. Players can battle for the side of light or darkness, now with upgraded visuals, all-new epic musical tracks, and more!

Enclave HD is a third-person action role-playing game with intense medieval combat, an epic soundtrack, and two separate story-driven campaigns which have the player fighting for the forces of Light or Darkness. Each faction offers six distinct character options such as Knights, Wizards, and Druids on the side of Light, or servants of the Darkness like Berserkers, Assassins, and Goblins. Wield swords, magic, and bows to wage war on your enemies and decide Celenheim’s future.
In the original multi-million-selling Enclave, and in Enclave HD, 1,000 years have passed since the high wizard Zale saved the people of Celenheim from the brink of defeat at the hands of the evil armies of Dreg’Atar by creating a massive rift to separate the forces of good and evil permanently. Now the rift is closing, and it is up to an unlikely hero to rise up and fight. Will this aspiring adventurer succeed in their quest to fight for the Light and slay the demon king Vatar? Or will they serve the Dark and take Celenheim for the forces of evil?
Enclave HD will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on June 29, 2023.
