Persona 3 Remake is officially called Persona 3 Reload, coming in early 2024
Atlus and P-Studio are working on a current-generation remake of the legendary PS2-era RPG Persona 3. Officially titled Persona 3 Reload, the game was supposed to be announced on June 12, 2023, at the Xbox Games Showcase. However, an accidental leak on Atlus West's Instagram accounts saw its teaser trailer published early.

The brief teaser opens with a shot of Aigis and reveals snippets of gameplay from the series' signature mix of daily life and turn-based combat. Character interactions with Social Links and cast members like Junpei Iori and Yukari Takeba are seen, along with the male protagonist. The game will show characters moving around the map and dungeons using a third-person camera angle akin to Persona 5's. Persona 3 Reload may also have additional character interactions or systems in its daily life, as evidenced by a scene featuring Yukari and the protagonist cooking in the Iwatodai Dormitory kitchen. The game's user interface appears to draw from the blue-heavy visual style of the original Persona 3, but is applied in a similar way to Persona 5. Weakness exploitation, Persona fusion, and the Velvet room are also shown. Notably absent is any mention or visual of the female protagonist added in Persona 3 Portable, so it remains to be seen if Persona 3 Reload will incorporate aspects of that game in the final release.
Persona 3 Reload doesn't have platforms announced yet besides Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S yet. It should be pointed out, though, that platform showcase trailers are typically edited to exclude mention of other platforms. The game's release window is set for "Early 2024", and it will be playable upon release by Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Earlier in 2023 ports of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden, as well as Persona 5 Royal all appeared on Xbox Game Pass as well.
Persona 3 Reload is in development. Its release window and target platforms have not yet been officially confirmed. A remastered edition of Persona 3 Portable is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
