Marvelous and Xseed Games revealed a new action RPG titled Silent Hope at the June 2023 Nintendo Direct. The companies also set up an official website dedicated to the game, which confirms that it will be available on PC via Steam in addition to Nintendo Switch. The game will release in North America and Europe on October 3.

Silent Hope will take place in a world where nobody can speak after their speech abilities were sealed by the land's former king, following a series of betrayals that occurred after a calamity struck the land. The player will control one of the seven available heroes to explore the randomly-generated Abyss and gather materials to venture deeper.
As a side note, Marvelous also revealed the same action RPG on the Japanese Nintendo Direct. However, it has a completely different title in Frederica, and the Switch version will release one week earlier in Japan on September 28.

Xseed will also release a physical Day 1 Edition that comes with the title's artbook and soundtrack album.
XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., in collaboration with Marvelous Inc. and Marvelous Europe, today announced Silent Hope, a new action RPG title, will launch Oct. 3 on the Nintendo Switch system and PC via Steam. Preorders will soon be available for the physical Day 1 edition on Nintendo Switch which includes an artbook and soundtrack at the XSEED Games Store and participating retailers for a suggested retail price of $49.99, while the standalone base game will be available digitally for $39.99 on eShop and Steam.
In a world without words, what hope is there for humanity? Silent Hope takes place in a once-peaceful land, silenced by the former King who stole people’s speech before escaping into the endless chasm known as The Abyss. Following these events, the Princess mourned her father’s actions and wept until she was entombed by her own crystallized tears.
