Final Fantasy XIV Make It Rain campaign returns on June 30

Prepare to stock up on MGP: Final Fantasy XIV will soon see the return of the "Make It Rain" promotional campaign. According to a post on the Lodestone community site, the seasonal event returns on June 30, 2023, and runs through mid-July. 

The Make It Rain campaign is a regular event in Final Fantasy XIV that centers around the Manderville Gold Saucer, a massive amusement park and casino located in southern Thanalan. Players gain access to it when they reach Level 15 in-game. Patterned after Final Fantasy VII's famed Gold Saucer establishment, the Manderville Gold Saucer features a selection of minigames, amusements, and rewards for players to enjoy, such as Doman Mahjong, Triple Triad, Lord of Verminion, and Leap of Faith. Participation rewards players with Manderville Gold Saucer Points (MGP), a currency that can be traded in for exclusive items like cosmetic gear, resources, mounts, and minions.

For the duration of the Make It Rain campaign, MGP rewards will be increased by 50%. Additionally, the 2023 campaign will include a new reward: A Wind Up Godbert minion. The new minion is a minuscule replica of the Gold Saucer's owner, Godbert Manderville. Players can earn the minion by participating in the event quest, titled "A Golden Opportunity." They can initiate the quest by speaking to the NPC Kipih Jakkya in the city of Ul'dah.

Final Fantasy XIV is available on PC, PS4, and PS5. The Make It Rain campaign will run from June 30, 2023 to July 17, 2023.
