Fate/Grand Order 6th Anniversary celebration gives away free SSR Servant
The English edition of Fate/Grand Order is 6 years old this year. Aniplex has kicked off the in-game celebration campaign for the game's 6th Anniversary and will be showering players with freebies over the next few days. Chiefly, players new and old will receive a free 5-Star (SSR) playable Servant of their choice, the better to improve their roster with.
The FGO 6th Anniversary gift is available to all players that have completed the "Singularity F" tutorial stage. Once cleared, they'll be able to claim their Servant from Da Vinci's workshop.
There are 32 Servants available to choose from, all found in the general summoning pool or the story summoning pool (a.k.a. "story-locked" Servants). These include characters like Modred, Altria Pendragon (Saber), Nikola Tesla, Altria Pendragon (Lancer), Achilles, Queen Medb, Quetzalcoatl, Li Shuwen, Zhuge Liang (a.k.a. Waver), Cú Chulainn (Alter), Jeanne d'Arc (Ruler), and Sitonai.
Additionally, players with at least 15 paid Saint Quartz in their reserve can also spend on a special one-time Guaranteed Summon banner. This banner will allow players to pay half the cost of a normal 11-summon roll. The results will contain at least one 5-Star Servant.
This year, the Guaranteed Summon banners split up the roster of Servants among 12 different banners, each with a different selection of Servants to pick up, including limited and seasonal characters. This year's sorting is based on the year a given Servant debuted, further subdivided by their class. For example, Morgan, the recent headline Servant, is in the selection for banner covering "Four Cavalries + Extra-class" Servants that debuted between July 2022 and July 2023.
Finally, players with Saint Quartz and Summon Tickets to spare can consider rolling for the newly added limited-rarity SSR Servant: Koyanskaya of Light. Though classed as an Assassin Servant, Koyanskaya of Light is a potent support unit, using her services to increase her allies' Noble Phantasm charges, decrease their skill cooldowns, and boost their attack power.

Beyond the summoning banners, the celebration also includes free Saint Quartz, Mana Prisms, and new Rank Up Quests to power up existing Servants further.
Fate/Grand Order is available on iOS and Android devices. The 6th Anniversary promotion lasts until July 16, 2023.
