Oblivion PS3 delayed
Bethesda today confirmed that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will in fact not make the PS3 launch window in North America and Japan.
They have resheduled the game in the rather vague period of "Q1 2007."
They also were hasty to confirm that this did not reflect on Oblivion's new 20-hour piece of downloadable content, "Knights of the Nine." At first considered to be a PS3 exclusive, it was then confirmed to be a downloadable extra for the Xbox 360 and PC versions.
Oblivion fans will be able to purchase the add-on from game stores for $19.99 - on a disk, packaged with all other Oblivion downloadable add-ons to far, or they can purchase it without these via Bethesda's online store for $9.99. Xbox 360 owners will be able to download it from the Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 points.
We'll bring you a full review of the new expansion when it is released.
