THQ Nordic shares a teaser trailer for TMNT: The Last Ronin
During the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2023, THQ Nordic and Black Forest Games officially announced TMNT: The Last Ronin, a video game adaptation of the graphic novel of the same name.
Back in March 2023, the game was soft-announced with a confirmation by Paramount Global, speaking in an interview with Polygon. At the time, senior vice president Doug Rosen described the game as a third-person action RPG, likened to the recent God of War reboot titles.
All we have is a teaser trailer for now, so it's difficult to judge the RPG scope of this game at the moment. It's set to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Who is the Last Ronin? In a future, battle-ravaged New York City, a lone surviving Turtle embarks on a seemingly hopeless mission seeking justice for the family he lost. From the minds of the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and based on the best-selling comic book event by Eastman, Waltz, Bishop, Delgado, and the Escorza Brothers: the official video game adaptation of TMNT: The Last Ronin.
Coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
