Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will include a demo for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Sega has announced that the next entry in the Like A Dragon / Yakuza series, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, will include a demo for the next mainline entry slated to release next year, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Masayoshi Yokoyama, the Director of Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, introduced a new Overview Trailer for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. It takes a deeper dive into what Kazuma Kiryu was going through after the events of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life as it leads up to his re-emergence into Yakuza: Like a Dragon as codename Joryu.

Several side activities for The Man Who Erased His Name were introduced as well, including the returning clan creator and hostess club activties. Players can also dress up Joryu from head-to-toe with different clothes and apparel. Karaoke and pocket circuit will be coming back too.

After players finish the main story in The Man Who Erased His Name, they'll be able to access the Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth - Special Trial Version. Some scenes in this demo for Infinite Wealth will be exclusive to this demo alone and won't be shown in the full game. The teaser for it shows Kiryu reuniting with a hand-cuffed Ichiban.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name releases on November 9 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).

Today, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio revealed an exciting new “Overview” trailer for the highly anticipated action-adventure brawler Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, digitally releasing on November 9 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.

The trailer gives details on the title’s gripping story featuring the legendary ex-yakuza Kazuma Kiryu (codename: “Joryu”), bone-crushing combat, mini-games (did someone say karaoke?) and other exciting experiences.

Players who pre-order the game will receive the Legendary Fighter Pack, which includes Like a Dragon icons Goro Majima, Taiga Saejima and Daigo Dojima as playable characters in the Coliseum battle arena mode. 

Additionally, players who purchase the title will have access to a special trial version of the upcoming eighth mainline entry in RGG's ongoing underworld saga, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, title releasing in early 2024.
