Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars delayed out of 2023

Konami has announced that Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars has been delayed out of 2023. No new release window has been given.

Originally revealed last year at Tokyo Game Show 2022, this dual-pack remaster of the original Suikoden RPGs incorporates HD visuals, adds new visual & sound effects, fast-forward, an auto-save, conversation log, full area maps, and more. Since its announcement, there has been little in way of new details regarding the remaster.

Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is set to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).

Regarding the planned release of Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars, we have reached the conclusion that despite the very best efforts of our dedicated development staff to re-lease the Remasters in 2023, additional time is needed to ensure the quality performance and gameplay experience our users deserve. The entire Suikoden team is renewing our efforts to bring Suikoden I & II HD Remaster to release as soon as is possible.
