Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes shares new details about voice acting and stage play minigames at Tokyo Game Show 2023
Rabbit & Bear Studios and 505 Games have revealed several new details about the upcoming Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes at Tokyo Game Show 2023. They revealed a new story trailer with lots of new gameplay footage, more details about the large undertaking on its large voice cast, and a closer look at one of the minigames players can engage with.
A new trailer for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes features the game's theme song "Flags of Brave" performed by Sarah Alainn for the first time. The English trailer also provides the first sample of English voice acting in the game.
According to the Rabbit & Bear Studios panel at the 505 Games event at Tokyo Game Show 2023, each of the heroes in the game will be voiced - that means there'll be over 100 voice actors involved in both its English and Japanese cast for the title.
Another gameplay segment featured in the stream shows the duel between Nowa and Seign on a bridge. Depending on which commands players give Nowa during the duel, the location of it can change. For instance, Nowa jumped off the bridge after exchanging a few blows with Seign and Seign chased after him onto a nearby field where they continued their duel.
Plus, there'll be a stage play minigame in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes that can play out differently depending on how many characters players have recruited and which specific ones they did recruit. Rabbit & Bear Studios demonstrated a stage play of Cinderella at the 505 Games event. There were different variants of the stage play performed that featured different characters and lines in each one, which were all voiced. There will be more stage plays other than Cinderella.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is launching on April 23, 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, GOG, Epic). It will also be coming to Xbox Game Pass.
