Fate/Samurai Remnant TGS 2023 show confirms that other Main Servants will be playable in Side Episodes
With a full week remaining until Fate/Samurai Remnant's release, Koei Tecmo revealed new information about the game on the first day of Tokyo Game Show 2023. One of the biggest reveals made in this stream is that the game will feature story branches. The company also divulged that the second playthrough will unlock a major story branch that leads to a totally different ending.
The stream also answered some lingering questions about the playable characters. So far we know that in addition to Miyamoto Iori and his servant Saber, we can also play as the Berserker heroic spirit Miyamoto Musashi and most if not all of the Rogue Servants. But what about the opposing main Servants like Archer and Lancer? It turns out that they will also be playable in Side Episodes that shift the focus to their specific teams. These episodes will let players check out the backstories of each key character, including the Servants' pasts.
You can find a recorded archive from the Fate/Samurai Remnant TGS 2023 show right below. The game will be released for PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam next week on September 28 in Japan and Asia, and September 29 in the West.
