Fuuka introduced as Persona 3 Reload's Vigilant Navigator
Atlus showed off more gameplay from Persona 3 Reload in a new character trailer introducing players to Fuuka Yamagishi, the soft-spoken "Vigilant Navigator" of S.E.E.S. The spot indicates more of Fuuka's unique abilities added for the remake, as well as moments from her Social Link interactions.
Check it out:
As in the original game, Fuuka is mild-mannered and a bit of a nerd. She enjoy science fiction and is prodigy with machines. She doesn't play a role on the front lines, instead acting as the Navigator for the party while they explore the dungeon. Fuuka pioneered the position that would be shared by Rise in Persona 4 and Futaba in Persona 5. In Persona 3 Reload, players will be able to spend SP to call up certain field effects, like "Jamming", an ability that prevents enemies on the field from detecting the party. In direct combat, Fuuka can deploy party-wide boosts, in one case adding to the group's Accuracy, Evasion, Attack, and Defense.
In English, Fuuka is voiced by Suzie Yeung. Yeung also plays Yuffie in Final Fantasy VII Remake (and Rebirth), Makima in the English dub of Chainsaw Man, and voices Noise, Admi, and Yulha from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. In Japanese, Fuuka is voiced by Mamiko Noto, who played Prospera Mercury in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury and Scathach from Fate/Grand Order.
