Koromaru is the Loyal Companion in new Persona 3 Reload character trailer

Atlus has revealed more about everyone's best friend in Persona 3 Reload, Koromaru. In a new character trailer for the upcoming game, the canine party member is introduced as "The Loyal Companion".

Like the character trailers for other party members (such as Junpei, Fuuka, Yukari, Mitsuru, and Akihiko), the Koromaru character trailer for Persona 3 Reload displays the intelligent Shiba Inu's personality and combat abilities. Koromaru is seen wearing his trademark vest, with distinctive angel wing accessories and headset-like collar device. In combat, he wears a more tactical-looking K9 harness, complete with a small pouch and a knife to grip in his jaws. Koromaru is particularly smart, watching TV and playing shogi with the protagonist and neighborhood people. In combat, he wields the Persona Cerberus.

Koromaru is voiced by actor Shinya Takahashi. Takahashi has a long record of additional voice and bit credits in anime and game cast rolls, but also plays minor characters, like Rudra from Street Fighter 6.

Persona 3 Reload will debut on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 2, 2024.
