The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Game Awards trailer shows off more, previously unseen gameplay and story moments, featuring moments from locations like Cosmo Canyon, Junon, Corel, Rocket Town, and more. Moments from the game lean in even more to the game's metatextual aspects, with characters directly referring to the ways the Remake series diverges from the original plot of Final Fantasy VII.
There are also scenes of Aerith and the crew performing in costume, as well as more looks at Vincent, Cid, Yuffie, Dyne, and more.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will launch on February 29, 2024 on PS5. It will be a PS5-exclusive title for at least some time after release. Check out RPG Site's in-depth previews and other coverage of the game.
