Lords of the Fallen Season of Revelry free update brings snowball fights, new quests, and new gear
CI Games and HEXWORKS' Souls-like action RPG Lords of the Fallen is getting its first special seasonal event, in the form of a content update that is free for all players. Called the "Season of Revelry" update, the event will debut in two parts through December 2023.
The first part of the Lords of the Fallen Season of Revelry update is called "Offerings of Orius" and is out now. It adds multiple new spells to expand players' magic selection, as well as new projectiles, boss weapon abilities (which were added in an earlier update), and seasonal decorations for the Vestiges of Mournstead area.
The second part of the Lords of the Fallen Season of Revelry update will launch on December 21, 2023. Called "Trial of the Three Spirits", this part of the update will debut three new quest lines, three new armor sets, and three new weapons. The new items are patterned after three gods, and will challenge players to earn them. They'll also be able to throw snowballs.
In addition, the Season of Revelry update will also add some new features to Lords of the Fallen, such as a quest to unlock the Mirror of Distortion, which allows players to reset their in-game character appearance. New Grievous Attacks for each family of weapon will be added, and the Skyrest Bridge Coffer will be opened as a storage box for unneeded items. Players will also gain the ability to remap controller buttons to their liking, whether on PC or console.
Lords of the Fallen is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. Check out RPG Site's review of the game.
