Granblue Fantasy: Relink adds Cagliostro to its roster and will be receiving a demo for PS5 & PS4 in January 2024

Cygames has unveiled a deluge of news for their upcoming action RPG, Granblue Fantasy: Relink. It received two new trailers, three new playable characters revealed, and a playable demo for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in January 2024 announced. This was all presented at the annual Granblue Fantasy Fes 2023 event in Japan.

The first new trailer shown off reveales the theme song for the title, "Good Night, Good Morning", performed by the voice of Lyria, Nao Toyama.

Following that, the next trailer for Granblue Fantasy: Relink revolves around some of the boss battles players will encounter in the game. It showcases four Primal Beasts - Managarmr, Furycane, Excavallion, and Bolla. Plus, there'll be boss encounters against members of the enigmatic Church of Avia which include game original characters Id, Lilith, Gallanza, and Maglielle.

Next, a new playable character for the base roster for Granblue Fantasy: Relink was revealed - Cagliostro! She is from the base Granblue Fantasy browser game and is also playable in the Granblue Fantasy: Versus fighting game. This makes for a grand total of 19 playable characters at launch for the action RPG.

Cygames had another surprise to share, though. They will be adding two more playable characters to Granblue Fantasy: Relink in an update for the game coming on April 2024. Two members of the Eternals faction, Seofon and Tweyen, will join the roster.

Finally, there will be a demo for Granblue Fantasy: Relink coming in January 2024 before the game launches. The demo will only be available for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of it; the Steam version will not be getting the demo.

The Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo will offer players a chance to try the main story and quests that can be played solo or with others online. Eleven characters are available for everyone to try.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is launching on February 1, 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam) worldwide simultaneously.
